Dickson Encourages Public to Respond to Troubles Consultation

East Antrim Alliance MLA, Stewart Dickson, has today encouraged the public to make their views known by contributing to the Northern Ireland Office Consultation on how to Address the Legacy of the Troubles. Mr Dickson said "Over three and a half thousand people died in the Troubles, and many more were injured, bereaved and traumatised by the conflict. It is therefore vital that the people of Northern Ireland make their voices heard on how we address the past." Consultation runs until the 10 September 2018, and can be accessed by clicking HERE.

Dickson Addresses Pensioners Parliament

East Antrim Alliance MLA, Stewart Dickson, answered questions from members of the Mid & East Antrim Pensioners Parliament, as a member of an expert panel at the Tullyglass Hotel in Ballymena on Tuesday the 15th of May. A range of issues were covered, such as access to Health, Social Care and Transport. Dickson Marks ‘Dying Matters’ Week 2018

East Antrim Alliance MLA, Stewart Dickson, marked Marie Curie’s ‘Dying Matters Week’ with the charity’s policy seminar discussing funeral poverty. Mr Dickson, alongside delegates from other organisations, attended a policy seminar on Monday the 14th of May where several questions on the issue of funeral poverty were discussed.
